Review by Aloe Baby

Freedom Bird, the latest album by Lewis & Clarke Expedition, is a stunning collection of songs that showcases the band's impressive musical range and lyrical prowess. From the opening track "I Feel a Song (In My Heart)" to the closing number "Freedom Bird," the album takes listeners on a journey through a diverse array of genres, blending elements of folk, rock, and country music to create a sound that is uniquely their own.

The band's lead singer, Lewis, has a voice that is both haunting and powerful, and his lyrics are poetic and thought-provoking. The songs on Freedom Bird cover a range of themes, from love and loss to social justice and political activism, and each track is imbued with a sense of passion and urgency that is impossible to ignore.

The album's standout tracks include "Little Bird," a haunting ballad that showcases Lewis's vocal range and emotional depth, and "Revolution," a powerful anthem that urges listeners to stand up and fight for what they believe in. Other highlights include "Highway Song," a rollicking country-rock number, and "Garden of Love," a beautiful and introspective ballad that showcases the band's musical versatility.

Jacket is in Mono, but sounds in Stereo. Their LPs are rare items both Mono and Stereo. Not released in Japan and now. I love this song very much, too.

I'd like to watch the film just to hear Lewis And Clark and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. I could care less about the storyline.

John London the bass player was Mike Nesmiths body double on the Monkees television show. He was also in the First National Band with Mike.

I used to hang out with these guys in LA in 1967. I knew them well. Lots of fun in those days!
