Review by Military Pets

Joey & Danny's latest album, Rats In My Room, is a collection of upbeat, catchy tunes that are sure to get your feet tapping. The duo's blend of pop and rock influences creates a sound that is both familiar and fresh.

The album kicks off with the title track, "Rats In My Room," a fast-paced rocker that sets the tone for the rest of the record. From there, Joey & Danny delve into a variety of musical styles, from the jangly guitar pop of "Summer Love" to the synth-heavy dance number "Electric Dreams."

Throughout the album, Joey & Danny's vocals are a standout feature. Their harmonies are tight and polished, and they have a knack for delivering catchy hooks that stick in your head long after the music has stopped.

One of the album's highlights is "Heartbreak Hotel," a slow-burning ballad that showcases the duo's more introspective side. The song's haunting melody and heartfelt lyrics make it a standout track that will resonate with listeners.

The consummate 'garage sound'. Couldn't always pick up WKBW as we lived a mile from a 50K watter on 1500 a mile away. Heard the end of "Rats" in early 2000s when they briefly tried AM oldies. Too bad they were on a directional freq' and only served the northeast. Dick Biondi already on WLS when I started on out-of-towners at night, but Tom Shannon was there.

In the 1950s and 1960s I lived in Utica, NY and as soon as the sun went down I would grab my Channel Master transistor radio tuned to 1520 kcs...
The Hound, the crazy Italian {Dick Biondi}, Joey Reynolds, & Tom Shannon...

I've had this record since it came out....whenever that was. Maybe 1962? I just found out it was a cover of a song by Leona Anderson.
